How does a photo subscription work?
1. Download the klikkie app — Available on iPhone and Android. Setup takes under a minute.
2. Pick 10 photos each month — The app connects to your camera roll. Scroll through your photos and tap the ones you want printed.
3. klikkie prints — Your selected photos are printed on premium matte paper and sent in klikkie's signature black envelope.
4. Receive them on your doormat — That's it. Ten new prints, every month, without thinking about it.
What photo formats do you get?
klikkie prints come in three formats, and you can mix them freely each month:
XL (13×18 cm) — The largest option. Great for photos you want to stand out.
Square (10×10 cm) — A compact, Instagram-style square print.
Strip — A retro photo booth strip. Fun for casual snapshots or kids' photos.
You're not locked into one format. Each month, you decide which mix works best for your photos.
Is a photo subscription worth it?
That depends on what you do with your photos right now — which, for most people, is nothing. The average phone holds thousands of photos that never get printed, shared, or even looked at again.
A photo subscription changes that. It creates a small monthly ritual: pick your best 10, and they show up at your door. No editing, no design software, no trip to a print shop.
Elise de Rijck, Belgian author of the bestselling Bucket List Book series, put it this way: the generation that takes the most photos may end up with the fewest physical memories. A photo subscription is a simple way to make sure that doesn't happen.
It's especially popular with parents who want to document milestones, and with people who like giving grandparents something tangible — because for the older generation, holding a photo still means more than swiping through a screen.
Can you pause or cancel a photo subscription?
Yes. You can pause or cancel your klikkie subscription at any time through the app. There's no minimum contract, no cancellation fee, and no lock-in period. If you skip a month, you simply don't receive prints that month.
What paper are the photos printed on?
klikkie uses professional-grade printing on thick, premium lustre paper. The prints have a soft, non-glossy finish that resists fingerprints and feels high-quality. The paper weight and ink are chosen for durability — these prints are made to last, not to fade in a drawer.
How do you store your printed photos?
Once you've collected a few months of prints, you'll want somewhere to keep them. klikkie's Memory Box is designed exactly for this — a soft-touch box with a magnetic closure that holds all your print formats (XL, Square, and Strip) in one place. If you prefer a more hands-on approach, the Starter Set includes a scrapbook album, white pen, and photo corners so you can create something personal.
